Job Title: TIBCO Developer –
Experience Level: [5+ / 7+] Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Developer to support the migration of existing integrations from TIBCO middleware (BW5/BW6, EMS, etc.) to SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The candidate will be involved in analyzing existing TIBCO interfaces, documenting functional and technical specs, and collaborating with the SAP CPI development team to ensure successful migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document existing integration flows built in TIBCO (BW5/BW6, EMS etc.).
- Work closely with SAP CPI developers to support re-implementation of TIBCO interfaces in CPI.
- Identify integration patterns, reusable components, and potential risks in migration.
- Perform impact analysis and assist in defining the migration roadmap.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing TIBCO integrations.
- Assist in UAT/SIT for migrated integrations.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure end-to-end integration is maintained during migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP, functional SMEs, and project managers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in TIBCO suite (BW5/BW6, EMS, Administrator, Hawk, etc.).
- Experience in developing, supporting, and debugging TIBCO applications.
- Good understanding of messaging systems, REST/SOAP APIs, file and database integrations.
- Experience working in integration projects involving SAP systems is a plus.
- Exposure to SAP CPI (even at a high level) is desirable.
- Knowledge of migration strategies from legacy middleware to cloud-based platforms.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in integration platform migration projects.
- Certification in TIBCO or SAP CPI (preferred but not mandatory).
Nice to Have:
- Basic understanding of SAP modules and IDocs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes in integration development.
