- •3-6 or 6-9 years of experience in Cognos BI development (Cognos Analytics, Cognos 11, Framework Manager). • • Strong expertise in Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, and Active Reports. • • Experience with Cognos Framework Manager for building metadata models. • • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2). • • Knowledge of ETL processes and experience integrating Cognos with data warehouses. • • Familiarity with Cognos Administration (deployment, security, and performance tuning). • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Develop, enhance, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and metadata models. • Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Design and optimize complex Cognos Framework Manager models for efficient reporting and performance. • Implement data security and governance best practices
