OpenShift Containerization

Technical Skills:

• • Strong understanding of OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes. 
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker). 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices. 
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies. 
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). 
  • Experience with Linux administration. 

• Design and Implementation:

• • Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters, ensuring they meet architectural requirements and non-functional needs like high availability and disaster recovery.

• • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.

• • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• • Optimize container orchestration and deployment processes.

• • Assist in the design of OpenShift infrastructure and define environment configuration parameters (e.g., node configuration, networking, storage).

• Deployment and Management:

• • Deploy and manage containerized applications on OpenShift, including microservices.

• • Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters and containerized applications.

• • Perform patching, software implementations, and upgrades to RedHat OpenShift platforms.

• • Manage the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring).

• • Assist in change management of the container platform for new versions of OpenShift, hotfixes, and sysadmin tasks.
