Role Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in development, customization, and integrations
- The candidate will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining ITOM solutions (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and Orchestration) to enable proactive monitoring, automation, and optimization of enterprise IT infrastructure.
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on ITOM applications.
- Strong knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, MID Server configuration, and IntegrationHub.
- Hands-on experience integrating with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios).
- Experience in CMDB architecture, CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation rules.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (preferred).
- Good understanding of ITIL v4 processes (Event, Incident, Change, Configuration).
- Develop and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules including:
- Discovery & CMDB population (using probes, sensors, and patterns).
- Service Mapping to define application dependencies.
- Event Management with third-party monitoring tools
- Design and maintain custom workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer automations.
- Build integrations with monitoring and CMDB tools via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Ensure CMDB data accuracy and compliance with ITIL processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Discovery schedules, patterns, and classification rules.
- Collaborate with ITSM, SecOps, and ITAM teams for cross-module integrations.
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and feature enhancements for ITOM applications
